This book was published on the occasion of Fugro N.V.’s fortieth anniversary and it contains a kaleidoscopic description of the company’s history. The author based his story primarily on talks he had with many current and former Fugro employees. This personal approach resulted in a story both coloured and colourful, that is perhaps slightly less than accurate at times. I However, together the narrators describe the atmosphere in which Fugro started its activities and developed into a global and world class company by trial and error and determination, whose people realise down-to-earth and up-to-date achievements that never fail to.
