In revising the 1935 edition of LLOYD’S CALENDAR Opportunity has been taken to incorporate several new features. At the request of a number of marine salvage contractors at home and abroad fuller information has been given about places where salvage plant, &c., is available; there are also new articles dealing with shipping, freight rates, shipbuilding, shipping values and the development and position of the coal and oil industry. Several new law cases recently decided in the Courts, which are of interest to the shipping and mercantile community, have been included in the Legal Section. The permanent reference matter has been added to considerably and every care taken to ensure that it is thoroughly up-to-date at the time of going to press.
